Monica is a graduate of Tiffin University with a BA in Organizational Management and a graduate of Cleveland State University with a Master’s in Sociology. She works as a Sociology professor at Cuyahoga Community College in addition to having the job of completing dialysis treatments five times a week. She is President of Hosanna House Enterprises and founder of the former Monica A. Starks Foundation. She is an advocate for Kidney Disease Awareness and speaks in the community about kidney disease prevention.
Monica's goal is to encourage the at risk population to make lifestyle changes. Those at risk can begin today, with understanding and acknowledging that they are at risk. We discuss the top five risk factors that many do not know and discuss lifestyle changes often with examples, demos and entertainment. She also speaks concerning other topics and incorporates discussions for personal transformation.
